Putting yourself out there in any capacity is TERRIFYING.   You welcome in the trolls, the naysayers, the people who think of your business as a hobby or unrealistic. Fuck it.  Do it anyway. Starting to blog has been something I've had on my "things to do" list for YEARS.   But putting my voice out there for more than just the individual sitting in front of me un-nerves me. I damn sure am. Working with fellow small business has ALWAYS been what really excited me about my "job." Don't get me wrong, I love my customers, I love being around shit I think is super cool.  But when it all comes down to it - COMMUNITY.  We have built the most amazing community of customers turned friends (and vendors AND small business owners).  I have had the absolute privilege of witnessing a number of businesses be started from the ground up.  Remembering what it was like in the very early days of biz, being a part of another's journey...
